Who are we?

Esra Erol

Esra is a senior social media manager by day, screenwriter by night. She has worked at Comedy Central, BuzzFeed, Digg, and Munchies. When she’s not writing, she reads A LOT of comic books. Perhaps one day she will muster up the courage to go to Comic-Con dressed as Spider-Gwen? Who knows!

Mallory Johns

Mallory is a seasoned marketer and journalist working at the intersection of entertainment, media, tech, and e-commerce. She's worked with a number of media organizations/brands/celebrities, including: Vox Media, Lacoste, Popular Science, Engadget, and Lindsay Lohan (yes, that Lindsay Lohan). Outside of the office, she's a classically-trained pianist and has produced an album of electronic tunes. And you guessed, she loves binge-watching TV!

Gina Chen

Gina is a marketing strategist who’s managed teams, campaigns, and the unexpected across the entertainment industry, with stints at Cartoon Network and Vox Media, and former clients including HBO, Syfy, and Hulu. She’s a pro-aca-fan (industry professional + academic scholar + fan), and loves to watch TV in context. She’s also a little obsessed with reading.

Zac Meinero, Editor

TV is in Zac's blood. Having grown up in editing rooms thanks to his Dad, it's no wonder that he would have a passion for media and production. From livestream video production and video editing to podcast editing, he loves it all. When he isn't editing podcasts you can find him buried in computer programming, or a really good video game.
